A Master of Science degree in Dentistry at UNG University encompasses three areas of specialization: Periodontics, Restorative Dentistry, and Implantology.
We offer both clinical and theoretical subjects, and these require students to participate in seminars and scientific debates. The development of logical reasoning, interpretation of scientific studies, and an ability to resolve problematic situations related to clinical and laboratory studies are also strongly emphasized during the two-year program.
Students will have an opportunity to debate many up-to-date topics in dentistry, as well as topics that are fundamental to the training of modern professionals such as scientific research and its development and the role of higher education in contemporary society.
We have also established agreements and exchange programs with international research institutes with the goal of providing an opportunity for the students enrolled in our program to develop part of their thesis at a teaching institution abroad. A key collaboration exists with the Forsyth Institute, a renowned research center that is associated with Harvard University (Boston, MA, USA) and Universitá Degli Studi di Chieti (Italy).
