The Doctoral Program in Dentistry at UNG University covers three areas of specialization: Periodontics, Dentistry, and Implantology.
Both clinical and theoretical subjects are offered, and students participate in seminars and scientific debates. The development of logical reasoning, interpretation of scientific studies, and the ability to resolve problematic situations related to clinical and laboratory studies are strongly emphasized during the two years of the program.
Students have the opportunity to debate many up-to-date topics, including those not related to dentistry, as well as those that are fundamental to the training of modern professionals, such as scientific research and its development and the role of higher education in contemporary society.
Another important element of our program is the opportunity for the students to develop part of their thesis at a University or research institution abroad.
We have established agreements with international research institutes to conduct an exchange program that involves collaborative exchanges with the Forsyth Institute, a renowned research center linked to Harvard University (Boston, MA, USA) and Universitá Degli Studi di Chieti (Italy).
