PhD’s course completion

Students with master degree

Twenty (20) discipline credits to complement the PhD’s course, respecting compulsory and optional subjects (300 hours).
Qualifying Examination – 20 credits (300 hours).
Oral examination (thesis defense) – 120 credits (1800 hours).
Total course hours – 160 credits (2400 hours).


Students without master degree

Fourth (40) discipline credits to complement the PhD’s course, respecting compulsory and optional subjects (600 hours).
Qualifying Examination – 20 credits (300 hours).
Oral examination (thesis defense) – 120 credits (1800 hours).
Total course hours – 160 credits (2700 hours).
