Dr. Mayara Paim Patel is an orthodontist – Master and PhD in Orthodontics for Bauru Dental School, University of São Paulo. Post-doctoral in Orthodontics for Bauru Dental School, University of São Paulo. Full-time Professor in Graduate and Post-graduate at Guarulhos University (UNG). Guest professor of the Orthodontics courses at the Vellini Institute – São Paulo, SP; IOPG – Bauru, SP; ICOS – Joinville, SC e SOEP – Porto Velho, RO.
Research Interests
Her main research field is the diagnostic and treatment of the Angle Class II malocclusion in the mixed and permanent dentures, evaluating the treatment efficiency and the behavior about the facial profile. She has projects in progress about the behavior of the clear aligner in cases of the anterior teeth tipping control and in young patients.
Other highlights
Professor Mayara Paim Patel is author of the book “Class II malocclusion – the daily challenge of the orthodontics practice” and “Orthodontics Clear Aligner”. Participated as co-author of the book “Face Curves – Orofacial harmonization”. She participates as speaker in many Congresso f the national and international reference, as the Orto – SPO and International Congress of the Orthodontics La Paz, Bolivia.
