Prof. Marina Roscoe – DDS, MSc, PhD
Educación y actividades profesionales
Dr. Roscoe es Ortodoncista graduada por la Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU), Magister/Maestría en Odontología (UFU) y Doctora en Biomateriales y Biología Oral por la Universidade de São Paulo (USP/SP). Realizó parte de su doctorado (12 meses) en el extranjero en la Sección de Ortodoncia de laAarhus University(Dinamarca). Actualmente, es Profesora Instructora de la Universidade Guarulhos(SP, Brasil), actuando en los departamentos de Ortodoncia y Odontología Restaurativa.
Líneas de investigación
Su principal campo de investigación es la Biomecánica Aplicada a la Odontología, con énfasis en la realización de simulaciones computacionales por el método de “elementos finitos” y estudios "in vitro". Otras áreas de interés incluyen: movimiento del diente, reabsorción radicular inflamatoria inducida por el tratamiento de ortodoncia y odontología basada en la evidencia, con foco en la realización de revisiones sistemáticas.
