Four students from the Dental Graduate Program, Area of Implantology, presented their studies at the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) meeting held in Washington DC. Two studies were awarded by the AO Scientific Committee: Livia Lamunier and Givelton Coimbra da Luz Filho, mentored by Prof. Jamil A. Shibli, were the recipients of the Osseointegration Foundation Student Travel Grant. In addition to the honorable mention, each student received a prize of $ 1,000.00. This award shows how important and impacting are the studies condected in Brazil, highlighting the work done by the Dental Graduate Program.
