Prof. Dr. Murilo Feres (Orthodontics Master’s Program director), in association with his co-workers Danilo Duarte and Marcos Capez, participated in the launching of a book they had edited, during the 35th. São Paulo International Meeting.
This year, the meeting organizing committee has prioritized the release of a book entirely dedicated to Orthodontics, a field of dentistry area that has demonstrated remarkable technical advances over the last years.
The work, which is entitled “Orthodontics, state of the art - diagnosis, planning and treatment” (Napoleão Publishing Company) includes the most recent technical and scientific advances in the area. In addition to renowned authors, the book has also received valuable contributions from new and competent authors.
The book covers many current topics, such as the use of cone-beam computed tomography, mini-screws, clear aligners, amongst others. Traditionally challenging subjects, such as Class III malocclusion treatment, and the therapeutic approach to periodontally-compromised patients, are also featured in this work.
