Formação e atividades profissionais
O Professor Dimorvan Bordin é graduado em Odontologia pela Universidade de Passo Fundo (UPF) em 2011, Mestre (2014) e Doutor (2017) em clínica odontológica com ênfase em prótese dental pela Faculdade de Odontologia de Piracicaba, Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Realizou doutorado sanduíche no departamento de biomateriais e biomimética da Universidade de Nova Iorque (New York University- NYU) no período de 2015-2016.
Interesses de pesquisa
Seus principais interesses em pesquisa são: adesão e técnicas restauradoras em dentística, desenvolvimento e caracterização biomecânica de materiais aplicados à dentística e implantodontia, cerâmicas odontológicas, geometrias de implantes e pilares protéticos, ensaios de fadiga, análise de tridimensional de elementos finitos e biofilmes orais.

É professor de graduação e pós-graduação do programa de odontologia da Universidade Guarulhos (UnG) e revisor de periódicos científicos como International Journal of Dentistry, Brazilian Journal of Oral Scienes, Brazilian Oral Research, Brazilian Dental Journal, Journal of Prosthodontics. Faz parte do conselho científico do periódico “The International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial implants”.
